Eco Carer 3

This third edition of Eco Carer includes a thank you for the numerous eco-friendly policies we have adopted for years. These have helped us to quickly achieve our bronze eco-church certificate. 

As we look at what we need to do to achieve silver, we give an update on our wild garden and seek help from any female or male bricklayers or builders in the congregation to advise on a little project!

We look at the 6 R's of sustainability – refuse, reduce, reuse, repair, recycle and rethink in both adult and junior versions. For the brave, we also have some cringeworthy eco knock knock jokes!

Finally, we remind one and all about our next Repair Café which is next Saturday 27th June in the church hall from 9.30 to 12.30. Our team of volunteer repairers and helpers will be on hand to fix your stuff for free over a cuppa with any donations going to cover our running costs.
