The Welcome Service for our new minister Rev. Richard Atkinson is on Saturday 24th August 2019 at the new time of 4pm. The service will be led by the Chair of the Northampton District, Rev. Helen Cameron.
Richard is currently Super of the Skipton and Grassington Circuit where he has been for ten years having previously served in the Bradford (as a full time school chaplain), Clitheroe and Nottingham Circuits. His wife Louise is currently a vice-principal of a Bradford secondary school. They have two children Ben who is currently teaching Music and Fran who is in her second year at the University of Gloucestershire studying Social Care. He has been known to play golf badly, loves to cook, enjoys reading and the theatre and as both he and Louise are history graduates anything historical is of interest.
So come and welcome Richard and Louise on August 24th. Also, come and say a fond farewell to Helen and Andrew on Sunday 14th July at 6pm as Helen heads off to become Chair of the Chester and Stoke-on-Trent District.

Whilst he was talking, I thought of my own hands — all snug inside my woolly gloves. So, I...
