Della Holmes at the Toy & Gift Service

Over £1,000 was collected for charities at our Christmas services and we have a 'thank you' letter for our donations at the toy and gift service.

For Christian Aid, the collections were £311.70 at the Carol service and £80.50 at the Midnight Communion Service.

Action for Children benefitted from £!05.10 at the Christingle Service of which £34.50 was gift aided. On Christmas morning, the collection was £262.20 with £137.00 gift aided.

Karibuni Children benefitted from the post Christmas walk and lunch to the tune of £175.

Della Holmes, the Information and Outreach Officer for Aylesbury Vale Family Support Service has written a letter to Pauline Noble and the congregation:

"I would like to thank you all, on behalf of the Family Support Service, for the incredibly generous donation of toys and gifts again this year. The family workers, who work directly with our vulnerable families in Aylesbury Vale, have been able to pass these gifts on. The gifts make an incredible difference to these families, who have multiple complex needs. Gift vouchers were purchased with the cash donations, and used as gifts for the older children we support.

Thank you for organising the appeal, it is very much appreciated."
