Car Parking Threat

The Buckingham Street Coopers Yard car park and nearby Whitehill car park are both earmarked for residential development in the draft Buckinghamshire Council Draft Local  Plan 2045. With parking already difficult at times the loss of these facilities will have serious consequences for local businesses and the community work undertaken by ourselves, St. Mary's and Grenville Street Church.

Last year, our church and community centre alone had a footfall of 29,236 people and was used by nearly 40 different church, charity, civic and community groups and activities (Eco-church survey, June 2026). If we were to lose nearby parking, it would make many of our activities, especially those for the elderly and disadvantaged, difficult to continue,
