Derek's Diary 3

In the last three weeks, 80 years old Derek Adams has just walked 250 miles and visited 27 lifeboat stations. This was the first phase of his five-year plan to do a sponsored walk around the coast of Britain to raise funds for both the RNLI and the NHS. 

The aim was to spend approximately 5 weeks on this first leg, all being well. However, all was not well back at home, so this first stage has been shortened. You can read all about this in the week 3 diary from Sue by clicking here.
