Derek Treks Britain

So we won't be seeing Derek at church for a few weeks!

Derek Adams is planning to walk round the coast of Britain to raise funds for both the
RNLI and the NHS. Being 80 this year, he is doing it in stages!

He started the first leg on Monday June 6th, beginning at Lee-on-the-Solent, and will be heading north once he reaches Dover. Derek will be away for approximately 5 weeks on this first leg, all being well. He will be walking on his own, with just a backpack and sleeping bag, sleeping
outdoors whenever possible. What an intrepid adventurer – we wish him a successful trip and send our love and prayers!
