Climate Film Update

The planned screening and discussion of the People's Emergency Briefing at our church has been cancelled. Instead, we are urging people to either go to the 28th October screening at St Mary's church (6-8pm) or the 26th November screening at Southcourt Baptist church (7-9pm).

It is an eye-opening film bringing together nine leading UK scientists and experts with the latest evidence and why it matters to areas such as:

• Extreme weather

• Food security

• Health

• Cost of living

The film is based on the National Emergency Briefing in Westminster with appearances from Chris Packham, Deborah Meaden, and a range of voices from across the UK.

Since it launched in April 2026, over 4,500 community screenings of this film, also known as the People’s Emergency Briefing, have been planned or completed across the UK.
