Action For Children: February 2019
"We're at breaking point..." We hear all the time from families who have had the support they rely on taken away due to a lack of national direction and funding. Sadly, we know that children are bearing the brunt of this disappearing support, which is why we at Action for Children have joined forces with other leading children's charities to call on the Government to take action.
Your MP needs to know what's happening in your area. Will you invite them to our event? On Tuesday 26th February there will be a drop-in event with Action for Children, Barnardo's, the Children's Society, the National Children's Bureau and NSPCC, from 12pm-2pm in Room W3 off Westminster Hall where they can receive tailored information about children's services in our area as well as the demand they are currently facing.
If you click on this link, you can email your MP directly. It shows Roy Collis's name in the letter, but you just click on 'I'LL CONTACT MY MP' and you can complete the form in your name so that an email is sent, adding any other points you wish to make. To read the full letter, click here.
