Back home  /  News  /  Walk For Tea

'The Kirks and Harderns are organising a walk, followed by a tea at the Hardern's, hopefully outside, on Saturday 22nd May. There is a maximum of 30 places for the walk and tea. Proceeds will be for Karibuni Children.

The walk:
Please meet at Upper Winchendon Church HP18 0EP, where there is room for parking, at 1.45pm ready for a 2pm start. It is signposted from the Upper Winchendon Road There are only two styles but there is also one fairly muddy gateway so walking boots or stout shoes are advisable. Otherwise the route is over fields, parkland and estate tarmac roads, taking in Windmill Hill farm. The views are superb. It should take about one and a half hours giving us time to arrive for tea at about 4pm.

The Tea
This is at 82 Wendover Road, Aylesbury HP219NJ. In line with Covid-19 guidelines, tea will be served outside within the socially distanced rules in place at the time. Parking is available nearby at the Sports ground. A collection for Karibuni will be taken at the meal.
