Pearl Riley, who has been Secretary of The Tuesday Fellowship for over 20 years is now stepping down from office. The love and appreciation of the Fellowship for all that Pearl has contributed were expressed at the 10th July Annual General Meeting. Pearl was presented with a framed photograph of the group, a bouquet of flowers, specially baked cakes and a card in which everyone expressed their own thanks to her. Pearl's successor from 4th September will be Coral Soulsby who until recently, was running a similar group in Waddesdon. The Fellowship meets fortnightly from 2.30pm till 4pm, with a speaker, a cuppa and the chance to catch up with new and old friends. If you know anyone who would like a bit of good, welcoming company on a Tuesday afternoon, do let them know about The Tuesday Fellowship.
