£237.14 was raised for Christian Aid by the volunteers from our church and three from Weston Turville Church who stood outside Tesco on 10th and 25th February.. So a big thank you to them for their time and a thank you to all who gave.
There is always a need for funds in Christian Aid's ongoing fight with poverty. The latest example is South Sudan, where famine has been declared in parts of the country. This is a country in the grip of a humanitarian catastrophe, with millions of people in desperate need of food and security.
So as Tesco would say to both collectors and givers, 'Every little helps.'
