Stormy Streaming

Storm Eunice caused havoc with our live-streamed Sunday service and our outdoor noticeboard.

If you were at home on Sunday wondering why you could only hear the service but not see it, it was not your fault! Coinciding with Storm Eunice, the video camera was not working properly during Friday's funeral and wasn't working at all on Sunday. Despite the best efforts of our own Stream Team and our providers' at the Sunday Service charity, no pictures were possible. We are working hard to put that right for next Sunday.

Whilst there was camera concern inside the church at the funeral, outside, there was consternation as Storm Eunice managed to blow off the centre panel of our replacement noticeboard. It was only the prompt action of the pall bearers that stopped the loosened two feet by three feet metal sheet from damaging the funeral limousines parked outside, or worse. We are working to get a speedy resolution.

So whilst Storm Eunice has caused us inconvenience, we think and pray for those affected much more harshly with power cuts, damage to property, injury and loss of life. We hold those affected in our thoughts and prayers.
