A massive 'thank you' to all those who supported last year's Shoe Box Appeal. This was for Link to Hope, a Christian Charity established since 1991 and dedicated to rebuilding lives and communities in Eastern Europe by supporting Education and Social Care projects in Romania, Moldova, Ukraine and Bulgaria. A total of 39,031 boxes were collected nationwide and sent out to eastern Europe.
Do watch this five minute video from their website. It shows families and elderly people receiving their shoeboxes. It's such a small thing for us to do but it means so very much to those who receive a box.
