Derrick Matthews: April 2017
The distinguished organist Piers Maxim, Director of Music at Malvern Priory, will be the performer at our long-established annual organ concert. This year, it is on Wednesday 10th May starting at 7.30pm.
Pier's reputation and remarkable musicianship is already well established within the UK and specifically in our locality, formerly as Conductor and now as President of Aylesbury Festival Choir. In keeping with our customary style, Piers will introduce and perform an attractive programme of great organ music by French and English composers.
On the evening, the organ console will be placed on the front central dais. This, together with a large double video display and excellent sound ensures that everyone can see and hear comfortably without obstruction.
Tickets on the door are £12 or £10 booked in advance. Students have free entrance. To order your tickets, please click here.
