We are looking for someone (or two people together) to take over the organising of the annual Macmillan Coffee Morning. Jean Hamlin has now been doing this for 15 years (initially helping Carol Rogers), and although she is happy to help on the day, Jean feels she needs to pass on the organising of it now. It consists of ordering the promotional material from Macmillan, setting up the coffee bar, and paying the morning's takings into the bank. A number of people are always happy to make cakes for the event. The official date this year is Friday 28th September, but another date is perfectly acceptable. It would be a shame if AMC don't take part in this any longer, so if you are able to help or would like more information, please ring Jean on 426335.
