In this short video, some of the children and parents of Embakasi Methodist Church School, supported by Karibuni Children, say 'Thank you' for enabling them to continue eating after the schools were all closed due to Covid 19. In addition to having meals at school, their parents (mostly mothers or grandmothers) could no longer get casual work as house cleaners, washing clothes, etc, as those who employed them were themselves locked down.
Thank you for the wonderful response to our appeal for extra funding, especial;;y at this time when there are so many requests for money. The appeal raised just under £44,000 — we are so grateful to you all — THANK YOU.
