Peter Green: August 2019
Trustees of the William Harding charity have very kindly approved our grant request for new chairs and folding tables for our new Welcome Space. After a final decision on colours, the order will be placed this week.
The new furniture which is lightweight can therefore be more easily moved by our mainly retired coffee shop volunteer. This will thus provide more flexibility for our use of the space for different purposes.
Open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 12noon, the coffee shop itself offers a variety of Fairtrade drinks of coffees and teas, plus cakes and other snacks at reasonable prices.
Other plans are afoot to further develop the use of The Welcome Space — the space to watch!
