AMC Borg Bible slide 2

'Reading the Bible Again for the First Time' by the late Marcus Borg is our book club choice for this Saturday, September 26th. The quote shown, made by one of Borg's students will doubtless be discussed along with other insights into how we might see The Bible in 2015. So if you fancy coming along to take part, or just to hear what is being said, over a cuppa and a biscuit in a relaxed atmosphere, do feel free to join us. We start at 2pm and are always away by 4pm. This week, as there is a concert rehearsal in the afternoon, we are meeting in Room 2 in the community centre. So...tea or coffee?

Arthur begins with 'crown of creation' and Genesis 1:1-2:4a.1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. 3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was...
