Christmas Volunteers

Home » News » Christmas Volunteers

For the Cards for Good Causes Charity Christmas Card Shop, I am looking for volunteers. The job entails taking money from customers, either cash, credit/debit card or cheque, and putting amounts through the till. Training will be given as required. The slots are 10.00am to 1.00pm or 1.00pm to 4.00pm, any weekday from Monday to Saturday. Each slot has two volunteers working together on the cash desk, and a duty manager covering the shop. The shop opens on Wednesday 31st Oct and closes on Thursday 13th Dec. I have lots of volunteers covering most of the slots, but still have a few to fill. If you think you can help, then please speak to John Miskin: 01296 422919.

AMC Notre Dame towers
Rev. Helen Kirk: Wed 17 Apr 5:00am

Like many of you I watched the spectacle of Notre Dame engulfed in flames on the rolling news on the tv the other evening. Astonishing and dreadful images as a devastating fire ripped through a historic building, gobbling up everything before it, regardless of its importance or cultural significance. It seemed the whole of Paris watched in horror and the whole of the world sent messages of...
