The Cards For Good Causes (CFGC) Charity Christmas Card Shop opens again in our church tomorrow, 1st November. It will be open from 10am to 4pm, Mondays to Saturdays until Saturday 16th December. There will be cards on display for at least 25 charities, including two or three local ones.
The participating charities receive 70p in every pound from their card sales, less the VAT payable on the amount retained by CFGC. This retained amount covers the cost of running the national network of 'pop-up' shops, which are largely run by volunteers from churches and the featured charities.
