Catherine gives us the latest update on the Aylesbury Town Centre chaplaincy. For the full newsletter, click here.
Another milestone today in the easing of lockdown restrictions; although with a large amount of caution from government and experts. Since we last wrote we are pleased to say that gradually more of our work is opening up too; we regularly have Chaplains in the town centre, and from this Friday Street Angels will be out again in the town in the evenings at weekends.
We are also being welcomed back by some of our placements; with Chaplains at Aylesbury Court and Bucks New University Campus Aylesbury starting up again over the next few weeks, and Mark already returned to visiting Aylesbury Police Station.
We are still looking for new volunteers as things open up and the need for a friendly, listening ear will be more and more apparent as people begin to emerge. Do consider whether this is for you or for someone you know, or if you'd like to find out more please do not hesitate to ask.
Thank you as ever, Catherine
