Peter Green: July 2018
The Cranky, Beautiful Faith of a Sinner and Saint is the sub-title of Rev. Nadia Bolz-Weber's book that The Good Faith Book Club will be discussing this Saturday, July 28th at 2pm. The actual title is Pastrix, which is defined as 'a term of insult used by unimaginative sections of the church to define female pastors.
Will we agree with the book cover that describes the work as, 'Outrageous, rich and remarkable.' Do we also think that 'Pastrix turns spiritual memoir on its ear in this sardonically irreverent and beautifully honest page-turner'?
We'll find out on Saturday. If you fancy coming along it's free and so is the tea or coffee. The folk are very welcoming too. To see summaries of our previous discussions, click here.

The style of Borg's writing is scholarly, logical and assessible, which made it easy...
