Art for Aid

Home » News » Art for Aid

Our friends at Chinnor Methodist Church are holding an art exhibition to support Christian Aid. It is on Friday and Saturday 8th/9th September from 10am — 4pm. As well as the Art Exhibition & Sale of Watercolours by R. K, Scopes, refreshments and lunches are also available. Entry to the exhibition is FREE.

Roger Scopes has painted some local scenes of Chinnor (including the Windmill, the Steam Train, St Andrew's Church, the Wee Book Shop etc). Altogether the Exhibition will include 30 of Roger's paintings and they will all be FOR SALE (with cards, notelets etc.) Roger will also undertake commissions. All money raised from sales of paintings, coffees, lunches etc will go to Christian Aid.

Chinnor Methodist Church is at 62 Station Road, OX39 4PZ. For an interactive map and directions, click here. Parking will probably be easiest at the Library/Doctors/Pavilion car parks, a bit further down Station Road.
