Hillside, the MHA home at the top of Bicester Road Aylesbury, is looking for a part-time chaplain. This involves 10 hours a week with a salary of £10.02 per hour. Submission deadline is 25th September 2016 and the interview date is Thursday 6th October 2016.
Would you like to make a positive contribution to the welfare of older people? Spiritual well-being — distinct from religious affiliation or belief — as a universal need, is a cornerstone of MHA's positive approach to ageing and we aim to provide the highest quality care and support for older people of all faiths and none. You will build good working relationships with local faith communities and take the lead on pastoral care, spiritual and worship aspects of life within this care home. You will need to be in good standing with your own faith community. An empathetic understanding of spiritual aspects of ageing and dementia, demonstrated through experience of providing pastoral care and, ideally, leading services, is essential.
