“Professor Ian Tracey, the organist of Liverpool Cathedral gave a splendid recital on the organ of Aylesbury Methodist Church. He showed himself to be not only a brilliant performer on the instrument, but also in the way he introduced the pieces before playing them, an excellent public speaker”.

The Bucks Herald (May 1991)

“Aylesbury Methodist Church was almost filled to capacity for the return visit of Professor Ian Tracey, the globetrotting organist and master of the choristers at Liverpool Cathedral………...Back in the country from America for less than 24 hours he showed no signs of jet-lag as he entertained his audience for almost two hours with his playing and anecdotal explanations of the music………That the audience forced him back to the organ for five encores was a testament to his brilliance and popularity”.

The Bucks Herald (May 1994)

“A packed audience heard a breathtaking concert given by Professor Ian Tracey…….  The programme appealed to both organists and non-organists alike and Professor Tracey’s lively comments and anecdotes gave a fascinating insight into the composers and the works performed……..The evening was a musical treat to be remembered for a long time”.
